Choose one of the six classification that best describes your business there.
. Local business or place
. Artist, band or public figure
.Company, organization or instittution
. Entertainment
. Brand or product
. Cause of community
The classification will help you rank for more relevant searches and provide relevant information fields on your page.
Then choose your category and fill in the simple and self explanatory form.
Please know that your category and name cannot be changed once your page is created.
( 2 ) Compplete Basic Information:
Upload Photo
Facebook will promt your to upload you page photo. This photo will appear as your icon each time you comment on a post or appear on a news feeds. It preferable you use your company/business logo as you photo so that people what your business is all about.
About Section
You will need to write your 'About' this a brief description about your company/business and this will appear on your main page so make it very descriptive and also make sure you include a link to your company / business website in this.
( 3 ) Use Your Admin Panel
This panel is filled with various features and options to optimize your page and your monitoring of that page.
Edit Page:
The 'Edit page' option on the upper right provides various options like:
